Wolvic is a secure, open source, and accessible web browser that brings all of the web’s vast information and applications to the world of XR, and enables rich immersive WebXR experiences on the web itself. With interfaces and interaction support designed for immersive headsets, Wolvic brings you the best of both the web and XR.
Initially developed by Mozilla as Firefox Reality, the project was taken over by Igalia and has become known as Wolvic.
Wolvic can be used either with the controllers or simply with user's hands whenever hand tracking is enabled in the system.
Wolvic supports syncing to Firefox accounts, meaning that users can share bookmarks, history and passwords with their Firefox desktop browser. It also allows users to send tabs from the desktop directly to the device.
With regard to text input, Wolvic provides a large on screen keyboard. Typing in XR might be hard, that's why voice search is also supported in Wolvic via the MeetKai service, supporting many different languages.
